  • WHY DO YOU LOVE WUSHU : :
I love doing wushu because it is not only challenging physically but mentally.  Wushu brings together people of various backgrounds, and therefore I am able to make friends who I’d never normally meet. 
  • WHY DO YOU COMPETE/TRAIN WUSHU: :
I train in martial arts because I think it is very challenging, and helps me stay physically fit.  I wanted to train to qualify for Worlds as this is an opportunity to demonstrate the time and hard work spent into training for the sport. 
  • WHAT ARE YOU FUTURE GOALS : :
My future goal in wushu is to help train a team of new athletes that will compete at the international level, and be able to compete with athletes who train professionally.

  • 2007 Canadian Wushu Nationals  - 3rd overall
  • 2008 Canadian Wushu Nationals – 1st Overall, 3 Golds
  • 2008 Trex Games, Korea  - Bronze, Spear
  • Canadian Team Member – 1997, 1998, 2001, 2005, 2007
