The Canadian National Wushu Team comprises of individual athletes selected from the National Championships (Team Selections).
The Senior Taolu (Routine) Team consists of 10 members - 5 male - 5 female, who each perform in the various individual taolu events of wushu.
World Championships are held every 2 years in the host country designated by the International Wushu Federation (IWuF) and our National Wushu Team represents Canada at these events that are also qualifiers for multi-sport games and other IOC recognized championships such as the Sport Accord Combat Games, the World Games and the TAFISA TReX Games. |
