Volunteers of WushuOntario do not necessarly practice or train in the sport, but rather are individuals who are general enthusiasts of the martial arts and the cultural elements associated with wushu.
WushuOntario is always looking for volunteers to aid in events and to get involved as martial art enthusiasts. As a volunteer you must register through a member club and provide a PRC police screening that is valid for 3 years. By doing so you will be involved with one of the fastest growing sports in the country and in addition will recieve the support of a dedicated company of talented volunteers and staff. WushuOntario recognizes the efforts and contributions of its volunteers with opportunities of valuable learning clinics and benefits that include:
- Individual membership and identification cards
- Travel and meal honorariums
- Volunteer intern opportunities that provide experience in organization and marketing
- Access to valuable recommendation letters and volunteer hours
- Member discounts to events and admissions
- Access to member only events
To register as a volunteer, complete the WO2A application form and return it to your closest member club.
