Volunteers of WushuOntario do not necessarly practice or train in the sport, but rather are individuals who are general enthusiasts of the martial arts and the cultural elements associated with wushu.

With help from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, WushuOntario has created a unique volunteer development program geared towards the many martial arts enthusiasts of our province. This program is designed to not only involve volunteers in Wushu (martial art) related events, but to educate and provide the opportunity for learning that will benefit volunteers in areas of production, logistics, management and career oriented skills.
Volunteer roles include:
- Event organization;
- Production and event management;
- General competition and event labour;
- Administration and communications;
- Marketing and Graphic Design;
- Competition technical assistants (score keeping, officiating assistants, etc.).
